CSA
NOW ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERSHIPS FOR 2010

What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.  A CSA is a way for the food buying public to creat a relationship with a local farm and to receive a weekly basket of fresh produce.  By making a financial commitment to a farm, people become "members" of the CSA.

How does Bridgewater Produce Farm CSA work?
As a member you will purchae a share of the harvest.  In return you receive a weekly quantity of 5/9 of a bushel box (14.5" x 11.6" x 8.1") of the highest quality, sustainably grown produce from our Northfield, Minnesota farm. We have several drop points throughout the Minneapolis and south metro.  You also have the opportunity to harvest your own produce or assist on the farm, if you so choose.

Helping the community

We donate any extra produce throughout the summer to local food shelves. In addition, we plant a 1/4 acre plot of squash for the CSA member to help harvest in the fall.  The entire plot will be donated to local food shelves.

When does delivery begin?
It begins the second week in June and every week for 17 weeks.  In addition, you are invited to attend our fall CSA day at the farm to choose your own fall decoration, enjoy a hayride, and attempto to complete our mazes.
